This syringe barrel has the nozzle that the needle attaches to offset, to make intravenous injection easier by allowing the needle to enter at a shallower angle.
This is known as an eccentric tip (or eccentric nozzle) syringe: 5ml syringes are available with the nozzle in the centre – these are known as concentric tip syringes, but we do not stock this type.
